
OHIO — Two juveniles are missing after police say they ran away from their guardian while at Franklin Park Mall Tuesday evening.
According to Toledo police, officers were dispatched to the mall just after 7 p.m. following a report that two foster children had run away on foot near Burlington Coat Factory inside the mall.
Police say 7-year-old Jamir Johnson and 14-year-old Jion Nappner left their guardian and were last seen heading further into the mall.
Officers searched the mall and nearby businesses with the help of mall security, reviewing surveillance footage as part of the effort. Police also searched the juveniles’ previous address but were unable to locate them.
Jamir Johnson is described as 4 feet 6 inches tall and 122 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red and black coat, black jeans and orange tennis shoes.
Jion Nappner is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and 114 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, a black bubble coat with red stripes on the sleeves, black pants and gray tennis shoes. Police say he also has a scar on his right cheek.
