PENNSYLVANIA — Two people were found shot to death inside a vehicle Thursday night in Pittsburgh’s Garfield neighborhood, while a young child in the back seat was unharmed, authorities said.
Pittsburgh police, fire, and EMS responded around 8 p.m. to the 5200 block of Dearborn Street for reports of a vehicle crashing into a parked car.

A woman was discovered just outside the driver’s door, and a man was in the front passenger seat. Both had suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the head.
A child, approximately two years old, was also inside the vehicle but did not appear injured.
The child was transported to UPMC Children’s Hospital in stable condition for evaluation.
Witnesses reported seeing a man flee the scene after the crash.
