
OKLAHOMA — Two firefighters were killed Friday morning after a fire truck crashed while responding to an emergency call, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the crash involved a Goldsby Fire Department truck traveling east on Redbud Road. Investigators report the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Officials confirmed that two firefighters died as a result of the crash. Their identities have not yet been released.
No additional information about the cause of the crash or possible contributing factors has been provided.
