
OHIO — Two Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s deputies were injured early Wednesday morning after a crash involving a stolen pickup truck, according to authorities.
Officials said deputies were responding to assist the Brooklyn Police Department with a report of a stolen pickup truck in the area of Fulton Avenue and Poe Road.
While en route, the deputies’ vehicle was struck by the pickup truck, according to a spokesperson for the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Both deputies were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have not released information about the driver of the stolen truck or whether any charges have been filed.
The Brooklyn Police Department is leading the investigation. Officials said the incident remains under investigation, and additional details have not yet been released.
