OHIO — Troopers from the Van Wert post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a three-vehicle accident that left two people dead Monday morning.
The crash occurred on U.S. 127, just south of Van Wert near the Hickory Sticks golf course, shortly before 11 a.m., according to a patrol spokesman.
While the identities of the victims have not been released, authorities confirmed that two individuals died in the collision.
Further details will be withheld until the victims’ families have been notified.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
