SOUTH CAROLINA — Two men have been arrested and another is still being sought following a months-long narcotics investigation in Clemson, according to the City of Clemson Police Department.
On Tuesday, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Issaqueena Trail in connection with the distribution of illegal drugs.
The warrant was the result of an extended investigation sparked by community complaints about drug activity at the location.
During the search, officers recovered over $1,000 in cash, several oxycodone pills, more than a pound of marijuana, and other suspected narcotics that will undergo further testing.
Police arrested Nigill Omari Ikeem Young, 27, and Jacquez Cedric Allen Gantt, 27, at the scene. Young is charged with possession with intent to distribute (1st offense), while Gantt faces the same charge (3rd offense).
Arrest warrants have also been issued for Terry Wayne Burrell, Jr., 31, who is still at large, and Dominique Olajuwon Willingham, 33, who is already in custody at the Anderson County Detention Center on unrelated charges.
The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details have been released. Anyone with information on Burrell’s whereabouts is asked to contact the City of Clemson Police Department.
