OHIO — Multiple Powerball tickets sold in Ohio matched winning numbers in Saturday night’s drawing, resulting in four prizes totaling $300,000, lottery officials said.

Two tickets sold in the state won $50,000 each by matching four of the five white ball numbers and the Powerball. The locations where those $50,000 tickets were sold have not yet been released.

In addition, two tickets won $100,000 each by matching four of the five white balls, the Powerball, and using the Power Play multiplier. One of the $100,000 winning tickets was sold at a Giant Eagle store in Painesville, while the other was purchased at a Walmart Supercenter in Columbus.

The winning numbers for Saturday’s Powerball drawing were 1, 28, 31, 57, and 58. The Powerball number was 16, and the Power Play multiplier was 2.

No ticket matched all six numbers to claim the estimated $1 billion jackpot. As a result, the jackpot continues to grow. The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 15, with an estimated jackpot of $1.1 billion.

Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets carefully and sign the back of any winning ticket.
