OHIO — Two $100,000 winning Powerball tickets were sold in Ohio during the Dec. 27 drawing, according to lottery officials.

A spokesperson confirmed that both winning tickets matched four of the five white balls along with the Powerball number. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night were 5, 20, 34, 39, and 62, with a Powerball of 1.

One of the $100,000 tickets was sold at Fairlawn Foodmart in Fairlawn, Ohio. The second $100,000 winning ticket was sold at Winners Corner in Columbus. Officials did not release information about the ticket holders, and winners have not been publicly identified.

No tickets matched all five white balls to claim the Powerball jackpot. As a result, the grand prize has increased to an estimated $33 million for the next drawing.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 29. Lottery officials remind players to sign the back of their tickets and to check them carefully, as prizes must be claimed within the required time period.
