Truck driver robbed at Ohio convenience store

OHIO — A Brinks truck driver was robbed outside a convenience store in west Columbus on Wednesday morning, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the driver arrived at the store, located at 2800 Valley View Road off North Hague Avenue, around 9:15 a.m.

While the driver was inside servicing an ATM, a man ran up behind him, grabbed a bag of money, and fled in a gray sedan.

Law enforcement is using drones to aid in the search for the suspect.

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
