OHIO — Three Ohio lottery players won big in Monday night’s Powerball drawing, according to state lottery officials.
All three tickets matched four of the five winning numbers plus the Powerball. Two of the tickets are worth $50,000 each, while the third, which also included the Powerplay multiplier, is worth $100,000.
The $100,000 ticket was sold at Gonzalez Grocery in Lorain. The locations where the two $50,000 tickets were sold have not yet been released.
The winning numbers were 6, 16, 33, 40, and 62. The Powerball was 2, with a Powerplay multiplier of x2.
No one claimed the $501 million jackpot. The next drawing will be held Wednesday, Aug. 13, with an estimated jackpot of $526 million.
