OHIO — Three people were taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after a two-car crash at one of Trumbull County’s most hazardous intersections.
The accident occurred around noon at the intersection of state Route 82 and Howland Wilson Road in Howland.
According to investigators, a pickup truck was turning from Route 82 onto Howland Wilson Road when it was struck by a speeding sedan that ran a red light.
Witnesses told police the sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed before the collision.
Emergency responders said none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
Authorities said the driver of the sedan will be cited. The Howland Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
