
OHIO — Three people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash near the Ohio Turnpike on Saturday, authorities said.
The collision occurred in the Jackson Township area and involved two cars.
Emergency crews with the Jackson Township Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene and provided medical assistance. Three individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment, though their conditions were not immediately known.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected while first responders worked the crash scene. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, all lanes that had been impacted by the incident were reopened by 1:17 p.m.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. No additional details, including the identities of those involved, were released as of Saturday afternoon.
