OHIO — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left three people injured Sunday evening in Jackson County.

According to troopers, the crash occurred at approximately 8:03 p.m. on August 24 along Keystone Furnace Road. Investigators said Tyler Hunt, 25, of Jackson, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier westbound when he struck a trailer parked on the roadside.

At the time, troopers said Jeremy Harlow, 40, and William Sexton, 65, both of Jackson, were loading a tractor onto the trailer. Hunt’s vehicle hit both men and overturned after colliding with the trailer, according to OSHP.

Hunt and Harlow were transported to Holzer Medical Center in Jackson for treatment, while Sexton was flown by medical helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Fire Department, Jackson EMS, and Aire-vac assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
