OHIO — Three people, including two juveniles, were injured in a shooting Friday evening in Xenia.
Xenia Police were called to the 100 block of Hivling Street around 6:15 p.m. after a 911 caller reported that someone had shot at her and her son.
According to a press release from the Xenia Police Division, two juveniles were reported to have been shot.
Officers arrived to find three victims with gunshot wounds: a 12-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy, and an 18-year-old man.
All three were transported by paramedics to nearby hospitals. Their current conditions have not been released.
Police said the preliminary investigation indicates that all individuals involved in the incident knew each other.
Authorities believe they have identified everyone connected to the shooting and say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
