KENTUCKY — A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition following a triple shooting Tuesday afternoon in Valley Station, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Police spokesperson Matthew Sanders said officers responded to the 10100 block of Laurent Way at 4:11 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire at an apartment complex.
When they arrived, officers found a 17-year-old boy who had been shot in the head. He was taken to UofL Hospital and remains in critical condition.
A second 17-year-old boy approached officers at the scene with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to UofL Hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
A third victim, an 18-year-old man, later arrived at St. Mary’s Hospital. Investigators believe he was also shot at the apartment complex. His injuries are not life-threatening.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is handling the investigation. No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
