INDIANA — Three people were injured in a shooting Saturday morning on the far eastside of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD).
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Carriage House East Apartment complex, located near the intersection of East 42nd Street and North Mitthoefer Road, at 8:44 a.m.
Initially, police reported that two individuals were in critical condition.
A short time later, a third victim was found. IMPD has not released the condition of the third person.
The investigation is ongoing.
