Three people injured following separate shooting incidents in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — Metro police are investigating three shootings that occurred between Saturday night and early Sunday morning, each leaving a woman injured.

According to LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell, the first incident happened around 10:34 p.m. Saturday in the 5000 block of Wabash Place. A woman was shot in the arm and taken to UofL Hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

At about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 2600 block of W. Madison Street, where another woman was found with a gunshot wound. She was also transported to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The third shooting was reported just after 6:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Hopeful Way. Police said a woman was shot in the leg and taken to UofL Hospital. Her injuries were not life-threatening.

No suspects have been identified in the shootings, and police have not said if the incidents are connected.
