TEXAS — Three people were killed early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Loop 250 near East County Road 60, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Authorities said the crash happened around 1 a.m. as a 2025 Ford Mustang was traveling eastbound in the left lane approaching the East CR 60 overpass. Preliminary information indicates the vehicle entered the center median, struck a cable barrier, then hit a concrete overpass barrier before catching fire.

The driver was identified as Rene Galindo, 20, of Odessa. Officials said Galindo was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Two female passengers were also killed in the crash. Natalia B. Rojas Torres, 21, of Midland, was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle. A second female passenger, who has not yet been identified, was found dead in the back seat. Authorities said neither passenger was wearing a seat belt.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and no additional injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation, and officials said no further information is available at this time.
