Three people dead following shooting incident at Ohio apartment

OHIO — Three adults are dead following a shooting early Thursday morning that Columbus Police are investigating as a double murder-suicide.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment complex at 12:20 a.m.

Upon arrival, they found a man and a woman outside the apartment, both deceased.

A second man was discovered dead inside the residence.

Police believe one of the men shot and killed the woman before turning the gun on himself.

The identity of the shooter has not yet been confirmed, and all three victims remain unidentified as of Thursday morning.

The investigation is ongoing.
