PENNSYLVANIA — A victim was flown to a hospital and three suspects are in custody following an alleged shooting in Lackawanna County on Sunday night.
Police responded around 8:30 p.m. to the intersection of Susquehanna Avenue and Nestor Chylak Drive in Olyphant.
A large police presence formed in the area as Olyphant Police, Pennsylvania State Police, and other local departments shut down Susquehanna Avenue and secured the scene with police tape.
Authorities said the victim was airlifted to Geisinger Medical Center near Danville.
The victim’s condition is currently unknown, and no information about a possible motive has been released.
The three suspects taken into custody have not been identified. Officials stated there is no danger to the public.
The incident remains under investigation.
