OHIO — Three teenagers have been charged with murder after an 18-year-old was killed during a robbery late last month.
According to police, Joaquin Simmons, 18, met with a 16-year-old just before 4:15 p.m. on March 29 to sell a pair of shoes.
During the meeting, the 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds attempted to rob Simmons.
Simmons held onto the suspect’s vehicle and was dragged several blocks.
He was later found in the roadway and taken to the hospital, where he died on April 2.
Simmons was a student at Woodward High School. All three teens have since been arrested.
