Three people arrested following suspicious vehicle report in Ohio

OHIO — Three people were arrested Friday after deputies responded to reports of suspicious vehicles in the 200 block of Burgess Avenue.

Around 10:50 a.m. on August 28, dispatchers received a call about a BMW 328 and a Mazda 3 parked without license plates. The caller expressed concern that the vehicles might be stolen.

While towing the cars, deputies encountered three individuals at the scene. One of the people was identified by law enforcement as having outstanding warrants and was taken into custody.

During the arrest, a man and a juvenile female reportedly interfered with deputies. Both were also taken into custody after refusing to stop.

A media release from the sheriff’s office noted that deputies used force during the arrests but did not provide details on the nature of the force used.

No further information on charges or the identities of those arrested was released.
