
LOUISIANA — Three people were arrested following a drug investigation at a residence near a local high school, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Police said the investigation began after an anonymous tip was submitted to Capital Region Crime Stoppers. Officers with the department’s Special Investigations Unit and SRT division later executed a search warrant at a home in the 1500 block of Kenmore Avenue.
During the search, authorities seized multiple controlled substances, including methamphetamine, cocaine, alprazolam, LSD, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and Vyvanse.
Investigators noted that the residence is located near St. Joseph’s Academy, placing it within a designated drug-free zone and resulting in additional charges.
Lewis Rhodes, 57, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule I, II and IV drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule II drugs and a drug-free zone violation.
Julia Bryan, 27, was charged with possession of Schedule IV drugs and a drug-free zone violation.
Alyssa Hughes, 28, was charged with possession of Schedule II drugs and a drug-free zone violation.
All three suspects were booked into jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
