VIRGINIA — Three individuals from the Rowe area of Buchanan County were arrested Friday following a search warrant that led to the seizure of illegal narcotics and assets believed to be purchased with drug sale profits, the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Authorities confiscated significant quantities of fentanyl, mushrooms, cocaine, and marijuana during the raid.
In addition, several vehicles and items were seized, including five vehicles, three motorcycles, a side-by-side utility vehicle, two trailers, and numerous firearms.

Each faces charges of Distribution of a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance and Conspiracy to Distribute a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
The sheriff’s office said further details on the narcotics’ quantities and the estimated value of seized assets will be released next week.
The three are currently held without bond at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority Haysi Facility. Their arraignment hearing is scheduled for July 7.
