VIRGINIA — Three Newport News men were arrested after investigators seized drugs, a firearm and cash during a search in York County on Thursday morning, according to officials.
Authorities said investigators executed a search warrant in the 4500 block of George Washington Memorial Highway around 11:15 a.m. The search followed earlier arrests made the same day in Gloucester County.
During the search, investigators recovered about half a pound of crystal methamphetamine, several grams of cocaine, a semi-automatic pistol and a large amount of cash.
As a result of the investigation, 61-year-old Thomas Kochen, 26-year-old Ryan Vincent Dal Pozzol and 23-year-old Trevor Bayless McElroy were arrested. All three were charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to distribute illegal drugs.
Dal Pozzol and McElroy are being held at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail, while Kochen was released on bond.
