OHIO — A Martins Ferry home was raided Sunday morning after multiple citizen complaints about suspected drug activity.
According to Martins Ferry Police Chief Vince West, officers executed the raid at a residence on 512 Clinton Street following numerous tips from neighbors and community members. Inside the home, police reportedly found:
- Methamphetamine
- Used needles
- Drug paraphernalia
Three individuals — Mark Kinkus, Michael Kurtley, and Reed Morrow — were arrested and are currently being held in the Belmont County Jail on drug-related charges.
Chief West said the department had been investigating the home for some time and emphasized the importance of community input, especially as the department is dealing with a staffing shortage due to budget constraints. He encouraged residents to continue reporting suspicious activity.
The investigation is ongoing.
