NORTH CAROLINA — Three people are facing multiple drug-related charges after a search of a residence in Macon County, according to authorities.
The Macon County Sheriff’s Office said deputies executed two search warrants Tuesday at a home in the Hickory Knoll Road area, where three individuals were detained.
Investigators reported seizing trafficking amounts of methamphetamine, two firearms and various items of drug paraphernalia during the operation.
Authorities said the warrants were obtained after receiving information related to stolen property and the illegal possession of firearms. When deputies arrived, two of the individuals at the scene allegedly attempted to destroy suspected drugs.

Sally English faces charges of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer. She was given a $100,000 bond.
Alyssa Edwards is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer and felony failure to appear. She is also being held without bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
