
NORTH CAROLINA — A months-long investigation into illegal drug activity in Pitt County led to three arrests on Wednesday after deputies executed a search warrant at a Greenville residence, according to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives and deputies from the Special Operations Narcotics Unit, Patrol, Gang and Gun Unit, and K9 Unit searched a home on Slauter Street on December 10. Inside, investigators found cocaine and marijuana.
Three residents were arrested and face multiple charges.
Brandon L. Tyson, 36, was charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple possession of Schedule VI drugs. He is being held without bond.
Latonya L. Tucker, 50, was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine. She was released after posting a $5,000 secured bond.
Sandra L. Purvis, 54, was also charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and released after posting a $5,000 secured bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
