NORTH CAROLINA — A month-long investigation into suspected drug trafficking at a Salisbury residence led to the arrest of three individuals on July 1, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies executed a search warrant at 5520 Old Mocksville Road, a property known to law enforcement for past drug activity.
Investigators seized approximately 15 grams of fentanyl, 24 grams of methamphetamine, 18 grams of cocaine, numerous opioid pills, and two illegal firearms.
Stacey Bryant was charged with trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in opioids, possession with intent to sell cocaine and methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, and maintaining a dwelling for drug activity.
Adam Anderson was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, two counts of possession of Schedule II controlled substances, and maintaining a dwelling for the use and sale of controlled substances.
Wayne Morrison was also arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
The residence and Anderson have been linked to drug-related activity since at least 2016.
That year, deputies executed a previous search warrant at the same location and discovered what were believed to be explosive materials.
Authorities found the remains of at least 10 “one pot” meth labs, a bomb-making ledger, explosive materials, ammunition, and meth ingredients. At the time, Anderson was already a convicted felon.
Public safety records show that Bryant and Morrison also have prior drug-related offenses.
Anyone with information about criminal activity is encouraged to contact the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at 704-216-8700 or Rowan County Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-866-639-JAIL (5245).
