MICHIGAN — Three people were arrested Wednesday after law enforcement executed a search warrant on Ingleside Terrace as part of a long-term narcotics investigation into a suspected heroin and fentanyl dealer.

Authorities said the search uncovered heroin, fentanyl, and a handgun inside the residence.

A 31-year-old Kalamazoo man was taken into custody and booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail.

He faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to deliver heroin and fentanyl, maintaining a drug house, being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and probation violation.

A 58-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, both from Kalamazoo, were also arrested on outstanding warrants, officials said.

The operation was carried out by Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) East detectives, with assistance from the Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team and troopers from the MSP Paw Paw Post.

Officials encourage anyone seeking help for substance use to contact Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health at (800) 781-0353. Treatment resources are available regardless of insurance status.
