LOUISIANA — A months-long narcotics investigation has resulted in the arrest of three people in connection with drug activity in Lafourche Parish, authorities announced this week.

Sheriff Craig Webre said 40-year-old Lusiana Villagrana of Thibodaux, 40-year-old Tate Allemand of Broussard, and 28-year-old Mariah Lebouef of Baton Rouge were taken into custody following a search at Villagrana’s residence.

Investigators had obtained an arrest warrant for Villagrana for suspected methamphetamine distribution, along with a search warrant for her home.

During the search, authorities say Villagrana was found in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, Schedule V narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.

Allemand and Lebouef, who were also at the residence, were reportedly found with drugs as well.

Villagrana was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex.

In addition to the original distribution charge, she faces charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, Schedule V narcotics, and drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $106,000.

Allemand was also booked and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana, along with possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail is set at $75,500.

Lebouef received a misdemeanor summons for marijuana possession.
