IOWA — Three people were arrested Tuesday evening following a drug raid conducted by the Oelwein Police Department and Iowa State Patrol.
According to authorities, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on 6th Avenue SE, where they located and seized illegal controlled substances.
As a result, 47-year-old Misty June Marie Cook was charged with multiple felonies, including conspiracy with intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine, conspiracy with intent to manufacture or deliver marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thirty-one-year-old Zackery Michael Frazer is facing the same charges.
Additionally, 52-year-old Regina Rena Larsen was charged with possession of a controlled substance (1st offense – methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cook is also known as the mother of Lyric Cook-Morrissey, one of the Evansdale cousins who were kidnapped and murdered in 2012. That case remains unsolved.
All three suspects are currently being held in jail as the investigation continues.
