INDIANA — Three people were arrested Wednesday afternoon after Greenfield police executed a search warrant in connection with a months-long drug investigation.
According to the Greenfield Police Department, officers had been receiving community tips about suspected drug activity at a home in the 600 block of Brook Street, near South State and Tague streets. After gathering sufficient evidence, detectives obtained a search warrant for the property.
At around 5 p.m. on August 6, the Hancock County Joint Tactical Team assisted Greenfield officers in executing the warrant. While the homeowner was detained during the search, police said that individual was later released.
Investigators focused their search on an RV located in the backyard of the property. Inside, officers reportedly discovered suspected methamphetamines.
A 45-year-old man and two 43-year-old women were arrested on preliminary drug charges. The Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office will determine final charges as the investigation continues.
