INDIANA — Three people were arrested Saturday morning after police stopped a vehicle reportedly transporting dangerous drugs to the Knox area from Chicago.
According to authorities, officers received information about a car suspected of carrying methamphetamine and fentanyl.
The vehicle was located and pulled over on U.S. 30, where a K-9 search was conducted.
Police say they found approximately two ounces of suspected methamphetamine, more than four grams of suspected fentanyl, and various drug-related paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
The occupants — 42-year-old Ryan Smith, 43-year-old Earl Beem, and 29-year-old Susan Risner — were all arrested and face multiple charges, including:
