KENTUCKY — Three people were arrested Saturday in a coordinated drug trafficking operation involving multiple law enforcement agencies at the Econo Lodge in Middlesboro.
Authorities say Ashlee Miller, William O’Rourke, and Amanda Monday were seen entering a motel room when officials discovered that Monday had an active warrant for her arrest.
Law enforcement then entered the room with K9 officer Steve, who quickly located narcotics in plain sight.
Investigators later identified the substances as heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other unspecified drugs.
All three suspects were charged with trafficking in controlled substances, possession of controlled substances, and additional related offenses.
The arrests were the result of a joint effort by the Bell County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police, and Middlesboro Police Department.
