ALABAMA — Three people have been arrested following a series of car break-ins at two Mobile apartment complexes, the Mobile Police Department reported.

Officers were called to the Windsor Place Apartments at 3661 Airport Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. Friday after reports of individuals pulling on car door handles. Similar activity had been reported earlier at The Estates at Lafayette Square, 900 Downtowner Boulevard.

When police arrived at Windsor Place, they located three suspects and arrested them without incident. One of the suspects was allegedly found with a firearm that had been stolen from a vehicle at a nearby complex.

Two juveniles were sent to Strickland Youth Center, and 19-year-old Glen Handy was taken to Metro Jail. All three face six counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle.
