
KENTUCKY — Three juveniles are facing charges after an attempted robbery late Sunday night, according to Bellevue police.
Officers said they were dispatched to the 200 block of Fairfield Avenue following reports of a man with a knife. The victim told police a suspect pulled a knife on him and tried to steal his phone and a chain from around his neck.
When officers arrived, three individuals fled the scene. Police said one suspect ran into Three Spirits and jumped out of a bathroom window, while another ran around the side of the building. All three were eventually located and taken into custody on Eden Avenue.
According to police, the suspects are juveniles from Kenton County. Their ages were not released. One was charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree fleeing, and third-degree burglary, and was taken to juvenile detention. The other two were charged with third-degree fleeing and released to their parents.
The investigation is ongoing.
