OHIO — Three students at Edwin Joel Brown Middle School were taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after reportedly consuming THC gummies, according to police.
Officers responded to the school on Willowwood Drive around 9:45 a.m. for a medical emergency, Sergeant Creigee S. Coleman said.
Investigators believe one of the juveniles brought the gummies to school after taking them from his mother’s purse. Medics transported all three students to a local hospital for evaluation. Their conditions are reported to be non-life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation by Dayton Police Department detectives.
