OHIO — Two juveniles and an adult were hospitalized Sunday morning after a vehicle crashed into the front of a Bob Evans restaurant in southeast Columbus.
The incident occurred shortly before noon at the Bob Evans located at 4019 Hamilton Square Boulevard, near U.S. Route 33 and South Hamilton Road.
Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Jeffrey Geitter reported that the three injured individuals included the driver.
The two juveniles, who were sitting inside the restaurant when the crash happened, were taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The driver was transported to Mount Carmel East Hospital.
All three are expected to recover.
According to police, the table where the juveniles were seated was pushed into them by the impact.
The vehicle was removed from the scene shortly after 12:30 p.m.
Authorities have not yet confirmed if the driver will face charges, and no additional details were provided at this time.
