ALABAMA — Three employees at the Bibb County Jail have been arrested following an investigation into misconduct at the facility, authorities said.
According to officials, C.J. Graham is accused of having sexual relations with an inmate and has been charged with custodial sexual misconduct and promoting prison contraband.
Two other employees, Kaci Foster and Martina Brown, are also facing charges. Both are charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband after investigators say they brought unauthorized items into the jail. The items allegedly included cell phones, razors, vaping devices, earbuds and other prohibited materials.
All three employees were booked into the Chilton County Jail for security reasons and have since been released.
Bibb County Sheriff Jody Wade said the behavior will not be tolerated.
“My office will not allow any employee or individual to compromise the safety, security, or integrity of our jail. We will hold anyone accountable who violates the law or abuses their position. The citizens of Bibb County deserve professionalism and integrity from those entrusted with public safety,” Wade said.
