OHIO — Ohio lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets after multiple winning Powerball tickets were sold in the state during Monday night’s drawing.
According to the Ohio Lottery, three tickets sold in Ohio matched four of the five winning numbers along with the Powerball, each earning a $50,000 prize. The winning numbers drawn were 23, 35, 59, 63 and 68, with the Powerball number 2.
Lottery officials have not yet released the locations where the winning tickets were purchased.
No ticket matched all six numbers, meaning the estimated $1.1 billion jackpot remains unclaimed.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 17. The estimated jackpot for that drawing has increased to $1.25 billion.
