
WISCONSIN — Thousands of Wisconsin residents are without electricity Sunday evening, according to the latest data from PowerOutage.com, as scattered outages were reported across several parts of the state.
As of the most recent update Sunday evening, approximately 5,688 customers are experiencing power outages statewide out of nearly 2.89 million customers tracked. The outages were spread across multiple counties, with the highest numbers reported in Oneida County, where about 2,149 customers were without power.
Other counties reporting notable outages included Lincoln County with 998 customers affected, Buffalo County with 538, and Polk County with 325. Additional outages were reported in Waukesha County (246 customers), Sawyer County (242), Columbia County (155), and Dunn County (140). Smaller numbers of outages were also scattered across other areas of the state.
The outage map indicated that most affected counties were experiencing relatively low percentages of customers without power, generally below 10 percent. No specific cause for the outages was immediately provided, and restoration times had not been announced as of Sunday evening. Utility crews were expected to continue assessing and repairing damaged lines as conditions allowed.
