TEXAS — Thousands of Texas residents are without electricity as of Tuesday, according to data from PowerOutage.com, with outages reported across multiple counties statewide.

The outage tracking website reported that approximately 6,344 customers were without power out of more than 15.4 million customers being monitored across Texas. The data was updated within minutes of the report, reflecting ongoing restoration efforts by utility crews.

Harris County had the highest number of outages, with 2,858 customers affected. Fort Bend County followed with 801 reported outages.

Additional outages were reported in Dallas County with 274 customers without power, Galveston County with 252, and Cameron County with 250. Collin County reported 196 outages, while Bexar County had 172 customers without electricity. Tarrant County reported 153 outages.

The cause of the outages was not immediately listed on the outage tracker, and restoration times were not provided. Utility companies typically investigate whether outages are related to equipment issues, weather conditions, or other factors.
