
PENNSYLVANIA — Thousands of homes and businesses across Pennsylvania are without electricity as of Monday morning, with outages reported in multiple counties statewide.
According to the latest data, 4,799 customers are without power, representing about 0.07% of the 6,758,935 customers tracked across Pennsylvania. The state currently ranks seventh in the nation for total outages and ninth for the percentage of customers affected.
Allegheny County reports the highest number of outages, with 1,013 customers without service. It is also the hardest hit by percentage, with approximately 0.14% of customers affected.
Other counties experiencing outages include Lehigh (882), Clearfield (592), Fayette (423), Centre (321), Adams (229), Bucks (164), and Indiana (162).
Among utility providers, FirstEnergy reports the largest number of outages, with 1,736 customers without power. Somerset Rural Electric Cooperative has the highest percentage of customers affected, with about 3.01% without service.
Crews are working to restore power across the affected areas. No estimated restoration times have been announced. Residents are encouraged to report outages to their providers and avoid downed power lines.
