
NEW JERSEY — Thousands of New Jersey residents are without electricity Sunday morning as power companies continue to respond to outages across the state, according to data from PowerOutage.com.
As of early Sunday, approximately 7,802 customers were reported without power statewide out of more than 4.18 million customers tracked. The outages were scattered across several counties, with northern and western parts of the state seeing the highest numbers.
Sussex County reported the largest number of outages, with about 2,979 customers affected. Warren County followed with 1,509 customers without power, while Hunterdon County reported 1,299 outages. Morris County also saw significant impact, with 1,160 customers affected.
Smaller numbers of outages were reported in other parts of the state, including Atlantic County with 217 customers without power, Monmouth County with 152, Somerset County with 89, and Burlington County with 71.
Utility crews are continuing restoration efforts Sunday morning.
