
MARYLAND — More than 3,000 homes and businesses across Maryland are without electricity Thursday morning, according to national outage tracking data.
PowerOutage.us reported about 3,233 customers statewide are without power as of the latest update Thursday morning. The outages represent roughly 0.12% of the more than 2.6 million customers tracked across the state.
Baltimore County reported the largest number of outages, with about 1,282 customers without power.
Howard County followed with approximately 973 outages, while Baltimore City reported around 466 customers affected. Smaller outages were also reported in Cecil, Montgomery and Carroll counties.
By utility provider, Baltimore Gas and Electric Company reported the highest number of outages with about 2,636 customers without electricity. FirstEnergy reported roughly 397 outages, while Delmarva Power reported about 151 customers affected. Smaller numbers of outages were reported by Pepco and Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative.
Utility crews across Maryland continued working Thursday morning to restore service to affected homes and businesses.
