KENTUCKY — More than 5,000 homes and businesses across Kentucky are without electricity as of Monday morning, according to the latest outage data.
Statewide, 5,027 customers are without power out of approximately 2,481,702 customers tracked, representing a small but notable portion of utility users affected.
Outages are impacting several counties, with Jefferson County reporting the highest number of customers without service at 1,429. Other heavily affected areas include Fayette County with 744 outages and Henry County with 721.
Additional outages have been reported in Bracken County (541), Bullitt County (379), Carter County (323), Pendleton County (162), and Oldham County (119).
Utility crews are working to restore service across the affected areas, though no estimated restoration times have been released. The outages come as weather conditions and other factors continue to impact infrastructure in parts of the state.
Residents are encouraged to report outages to their local utility providers and to use caution around downed power lines as restoration efforts continue.
