
GEORGIA — Thousands of customers across Georgia were without power as of the latest update Wednesday morning, according to data from PowerOutage.com.
The statewide outage report showed approximately 3,675 customers without electricity out of more than 5.3 million customers tracked. While outages were scattered across several counties, the majority were concentrated in metro Atlanta.
Fulton County accounted for the largest number of outages, with about 3,394 customers affected.
Other counties reporting outages included Polk County with 63 customers without power, Rabun County with 28, Chatham County with 23, Early County with 22, Lumpkin County with 17, Wilkes County with 13, and DeKalb County with 12.
Utility crews are continuing to monitor conditions and work on restoring service.
Customers experiencing outages are encouraged to report them directly to their utility provider and to follow safety guidelines while power restoration efforts are underway.
