
FLORIDA — Thousands of Florida residents are without electricity as of Monday morning, according to the latest data from PowerOutage.com.
As of the most recent update, approximately 3,362 customers were reported without power statewide out of more than 11.7 million customers tracked across Florida. While the overall percentage of outages remained relatively low, several counties were experiencing notable disruptions.
The largest number of outages was reported in Citrus County, where about 1,010 customers were without power. Osceola County followed closely with 964 outages.
In South Florida, Miami-Dade County reported 298 customerswithout electricity, while Palm Beach County had 217 outages. Central Florida counties also saw impacts, including Orange County with 130 outages.
Additional outages were reported in Pinellas County with 98 customers affected, Broward County with 90, and Hillsborough County with 82 customers without power.
The cause of the outages was not immediately specified, but officials encouraged residents experiencing outages to report them directly to their utility providers. PowerOutage.com updates outage data regularly as restoration efforts progress.
