Thousands without power in Arizona

ARIZONA — Thousands of customers across Arizona are without electricity Wednesday afternoon, according to outage tracking data.

As of the latest update, approximately 3,738 homes and businesses are without power statewide out of more than 1.8 million customers tracked. The outages account for about 0.2% of customers across the state.

The largest number of outages was reported in Navajo County, where about 1,795 customers were without power. Yavapai County also saw significant impacts, with around 1,668 outages. Other affected areas included Coconino County with 228 outages and Maricopa County with 38.

Among utility providers, Arizona Public Service Company reported the vast majority of outages, with 3,729 customers affected. Smaller numbers were reported by Garkane Energy Cooperative and Trico Electric Cooperative.

Utility crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible.
